Introduction
When you purchase our bags and pouches, you are entitled to rights and remedies under the law. The Australian Consumer Law (contained in a schedule to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) ensures that consumers who acquire goods and services from Australian suppliers, importers, or manufacturers receive the goods or services they paid for. If a problem arises and one of these guarantees is not met, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, refund, or having the service performed again.
Warranty Terms
Our warranty policy is designed to offer peace of mind and confidence in the quality of Feeldom bags and pouches. This warranty is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase and is available only through approved distributors.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers:
- Defects in Materials and Workmanship: Our products are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years.
- Performance Issues: The bags and pouches will perform as generally expected for their intended use.
- Repair or Replacement: In the event of a defect, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
Consumer Guarantees
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to the following guarantees:
- Acceptable Quality: Goods must be safe, durable, and free from defects. They should be acceptable in appearance and finish and do everything they are commonly used for.
- Fit for Purpose: Goods must be suitable for any purpose that you made known to the seller before purchase.
- Match Description: Goods must match any description given, whether made verbally or in writing.
- Express Warranties: Any additional promises made about the quality, condition, performance, or characteristics of the goods must be honored.
Claim Process
- Initiating a Claim: To make a claim under this warranty, contact the approved distributor from whom the product was purchased. Provide proof of purchase and a description and clear photos of the defect.
- Assessment: The distributor and the manufacturer will assess the claim to determine whether it falls under warranty coverage.
- Resolution: If the claim is approved, the product will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. If a repair or replacement is not feasible, a refund may be issued.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect,
- Machine washing, dry cleaning, bleaching (constitutes misuse of the product),
- Normal wear and tear,
- Alterations or repairs made by unauthorized persons,
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers.
Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
